| Bret Michaels: Broken Nose Pictures Posted: 11 Jun 2009 05:03 PM PDT  Bret Michaels shows off a swollen nose and bloody upper lip from the injuries he sustained during his 2009 Tony Awards performance. (Watch the video below of a Tony’s set piece descending on Bret.) The 46-year-old Poison frontman’s reps blasted the Tony’s for dismissing the incident. “I find it surprising that a Tony spokesperson would brush off this incident with a comment stating ‘Mr. Michaels missed his mark’ with no mention of concern for his condition,” spokesperson Janna Elias says in the statement. “If everyone at the Tonys [was] aware that Bret missed his mark, then they should have been aware enough to stop the set piece from hitting him or at least slowed it down until he cleared the stage. | Posted: 11 Jun 2009 03:03 PM PDT  My Name Is Earl has officially been canceled but will continue to run on TBS beginning in the fall. “Greg Garcia’s brilliant My Name Is Earl kept America laughing for the past four seasons and certainly deserved to continue for many more,” 20th Century Fox TV said in a statement Thursday. “While we had hoped to find a way to produce additional episodes for TBS, in the final analysis we simply could not make the economics work without seriously undermining the artistic integrity of the series. As none of us, Greg included, want the show to go out on anything but a high note, we regret that we must put to rest any speculation that Earl will continue. We are grateful to everyone at TBS for their enthusiasm for the series and wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew of My Name Is Earl for their incredible work.” |

| Cher’s Daughter Undergoing Gender Reassignment Process Posted: 11 Jun 2009 02:03 PM PDT  Chastity Bono, daughter of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male. “Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” publicist Howard Bragman told TMZ of the gender reassignment surgery. “He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago. We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.” Chastity started the process sometime in March following his 40th birthday. |

According to THR, Buckley will play Clayton, a brash young sports agent who represents Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) and has become a close friend, ally, business partner and advisor to him while also enjoying the spoils that come from being a wealthy, handsome single guy. Buckley filled in for Brian Austin Green, whose deal for the role fell through. |
