Some people in Cambodian society think all young female stars are the same: they are always involved in love scandals, but that's not the case. Let's take a look at Soeu Sotheara, the 17-year-old urban girl who has been at the peak of her career as (perhaps) the youngest Cambodian movie star of today.
Among Cambodian popular stars, Sotheara is regarded by many local newspapers and magazines as one of scandal-free movie stars and recently, she's been so busy with filming for VCD Karaoke and several Khmer oldie films.
When asked what she thought of love, the young Phnom Penh girl commented that love is predestined by fate. For her part, she says, she is trying to find a man who is not too old, not too young, but good enough that other people won't cry or laugh at.
