Look, normally I can admit when i'm wrong. I'll admit that I picked Butler over UConn. But I mean can I get a little credit for not anticipating Butler shooting like dick? Damn, Butler let me and a bunch of others down really bad. It's not like Kemba went off... he only had 16... just like The Show predicted. I mean Alex Oriakhi was the best player on the court with 11 points and 11 boards. Let it be known though that me, The Blob and The Show beat Oriakhi in 8th grade. One of the biggest upsets in MA middle school hoops. So yeah, us 3 beat a natty champion who was the best player on the court. But I digress. I will credit some of that poor shooting to UConn's psycho size and length. Oriakhi made Matt Howard his down ass bitch and Jeremy Lamb was contesting and altering all sorts of 3's shot by Butler.
I figured Butler was going to have some experience from last year but they shot 18 percent. You fucking kidding me? 18 percent? I had a better shot of banging Eva Longoria tonight than Butler did of making a bucket. Disgusting. So, you guys can go ahead and blast me... but i'm sorry i'm not sorry for thinking Butler could put the ball in the hoop more than 18% of the time.
Again, credit to UConn though. Calhoun got his 3rd title which is remarkable. Say what you will about his recruiting violations, but once he gets those studs on campus... he coaches them like a motherfucker. He's a legend. Also I think UConn finished the season tonight on its 11th straight win. That is unreal... not to mention they won 5 games in 5 nights in the Big East tournament. I'll give credit to UConn, but you can't blast me like a Jackson Pollack because Butler shot with Stevie Wonder eyes.
PS- Everyone can keep shitting on the Big East for their tournament teams but the 'ship is in the Big East now.
