Hey Geno, Aren't You Glad Nobody Was Watching?

Just kidding, everybody saw you and your ladies flop last night. To make matters worse, we will all see it today too seeing as your loss is the front page on espn.com. So wassup baby? Talk all year about how awesome you are team is and how your gonna retire if your streak gets to 100. Guess what you didn't get 100 or even a national title and I'm sorry but you and only you are the one to blame. It's one thing if Geno humbles himself and his team all year. Not take any game too seriously. Not laugh at opponents. Not put your team on some sort of pedestal. But that is not what he did and as a result he or the Lady Huskies aren't going home with any hardware this year.

His constant discussions about how women records aren't treated the same and how unprecedented this streak was could only do one thing; build pressure. By drawing all this attention to his team, anything less than a Title would be absolutely unacceptable. With every coy, condescending comment that he put out in the media, the Lady Huskies had more pressure to succeed. I'm sorry, but if there is one thing a coach should never do it is pressure and add nerves to his/her team. Because after all, as Gus Johnson once put it, "Pressure either burst pipes, or make diamonds."

The pressure will hit Kemba Walker tonight as well and come tomorrow Storrs, CT will be looking more like Chernoybl then Sierra Leone.
