Lots happening in Carolina today but no surprise here... after one injury plagued season in the Devil's lair... I mean Duke... Kyrie Irving is bouncing to the NBA and will either be the 1 or 2 pick in the upcoming draft. This dude was so good when he was healthy. He smoked mid range j's, splish splashed threes and could drive to the skoal (tin), he also made like Ricky Bobby and could shake and bake like a motherfucker and for all of that... he'll probably be playing in Cleveland... tough. I love the power struggle that is Carolina vs. Duke. I mean in 09 Carolina had a disgustingly good team, and Duke was benching that bum Greg Paulus and losing in the sweet 16. Just last year Duke won the natty ship and Carolina was in the NIT. Now it seems as if Carolina has a better team next year than Duke, even if Harry Barnes departs. Duke is losing Kyrving, sophisticated black man Nolan Smith and the one simply known as The Gremlin.
But lemme quote Kevin Hart from 40 year old virgin and say: "IT DON'T FUCKIN MATTER!" Well thats not completely true, your losing 3 of your best players. However, Austin Rivers can be as good if not better than Kyrie next year, they still have the Plumlee pussies (including youngest Marshall) and Seth Curry and Andre Dawkins. Duke will again be good next year, but the power on Tobacco Road made like Will Smith and has yet again... switched.
