Reason Five Hundred, Twenty Five Thousand, Six Hundred On Why I Hate the NBA

Today I chose to watch golf over basketball. Basketball is my first love. The Celtics-Heat game should have been a perfect little Sunday, I would even of had time to make it to Bed Bath and Beyond. Instead I have to be aggravated by how many different ways the NBA has ruined basketball. Players getting in fake fights, Chris Bosh in general never mind his spit all over the floor, constant traveling, its garbage.

Boston then loses by 23, very ouch, they look awful.

I do not understand anything about The League, the magical way the ball advances on a time out, the amount of time outs, the fact Joel Anthony contributed, it goes on and on. The players need a way to police the game themselves. In baseball if someone on the other team gets out of hand they get beaned. In hockey if your a douche you put up or shut up with ur fists. In football the ways to retaliate are endless maybe a little nut grabbing under the pile. The NBA, the most image conscious league has the worst image because the players cannot do anything.

LeBron got a little heated when Jermaine O'Neal did one of the most awkward fouls I have ever seen but I loved it. Jermaine looked handcuffed and footcuffed (why aren't those shackles called footcuffs?) while still attempting to foul a moving LeBron. Anything that LeBron doesn't like, I like, he sucks, not at basketball but at everything else. Players were issued tech's and there was some yelling and pushing but when the NBA was in its prime a hard foul sent a message. Today its a pr nightmare for the player and the league.

The NBA thinks by T'ing everyone up and the intentional foul that they are preserving their beloved super-stars which is fine but they do it at the expense of the game.

Scatter brains blog, but I do not know what to complain about because there are so many issues.

Frank the Tank is not the mascot for no reason. Just a nice little Saturday.
